Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?
We provide you with a dedicated UK phone number. When someone calls, they hear your custom greeting, then the call is forwarded to your mobile or landline. If you don't answer, it goes to voicemail and you receive an email notification. No special equipment or apps needed - it works with your existing phone.
Can I keep my existing mobile number private?
Absolutely. Your personal number is never shown to callers. They only see your business number, and you can give out your business number on marketing materials, websites, and business cards while keeping your mobile number private.
Can I port my existing business number?
In most cases, yes. We can port existing UK landline and some mobile numbers. The process takes 5-10 working days. Contact us with your current number and we'll confirm if porting is possible.
What about international calls?
The included minutes cover inbound calls from UK numbers forwarded to UK mobiles/landlines. International forwarding (e.g., forwarding calls to a number abroad) is available at additional cost. International callers can call your UK number, though they'll pay international rates to reach you.
How quickly can I get set up?
Most setups complete within 24-48 hours. You'll choose your number, provide your greeting script (we record it using professional neural voice synthesis), and tell us where to forward calls. Once configured, you're ready to receive business calls.
What if I want to cancel?
Rolling monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days notice. Your number can be ported out to another provider if you wish to keep it. We don't believe in trapping customers - if you want to leave, we make it easy.
Is call recording legal?
Yes, when done properly. Our Business plan includes GDPR-compliant call recording with automatic caller notification ("This call may be recorded for training purposes"). You're responsible for having appropriate policies in place, and we can advise on best practices.
